Bruce Roff is an audit partner in the Firm’s New York City office. He is a member of the Firm’s SEC Capital Markets Group, where he has served for 25 years, as well as the National Real Estate Industry Group and Construction Industry Group. Over his distinguished career spanning more than 35 years, Bruce has garnered extensive experience providing auditing and internal control services to owners, builders, lenders, and users of real estate, as well as a wide range of other industries such as media, construction, healthcare, telecommunications, apparel, technology, Managed Services, entertainment, manufacturing, and distribution. Bruce founded the Firm’s national real estate group, which he chaired for several years, demonstrating his leadership and deep expertise in the industry.
Additionally, he has substantial experience in Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) 404 audit and consulting services, along with a strong background in internal control audits.
His expertise extends to working with major real estate private equity funds, domestic and offshore real estate investment trusts, and numerous other privately held and publicly traded middle market companies. Bruce has in-depth knowledge of reporting requirements for publicly traded companies and has successfully guided numerous clients through the complexities of becoming publicly traded.
In addition, Bruce is a technical advisor to the AICPA’s real estate accounting and auditing guides, providing invaluable insights and expertise to the industry.
